ICAEW The New Boardroom Agenda campaign
Membership Awareness Campaign

ICAEW wanted to show that the accounting profession is key to improving corporate governance (the way in which a company is structured and managed, or ‘governed’), and how boards need to evolve to meet modern-day challenges and stakeholder expectations now and in the future.

On this project I worked as Creative Lead responsible for direction and execution.

We told the stories of board members that have broken the mould – such as Karen Hester, chief operating officer at Adnams, who started her career at the company as a cleaner, when she was 16, and is now an executive member of the board

We also shot a film with Guy Singh-Watson of Riverford Organic Farmers, a £100m business he built from scratch.

We talked about employee ownership, CEO’s and corporate responsibility. This content included profile interviews, podcasts and a series of articles, as well as a set of in-depth practical guides to help boards – and the management teams that work with them – make the right decisions for the long-term.

By the end of the campaign the Corporate Governance community had increased by 7371 members, up from 2325 in the same period the previous year, an increase of 5046 members or 217% uplift.
